We are thrilled to share with you our plans for contributing to a prosperous 2024 by supporting the wellbeing of teachers and their students. At the end of last year, we completed one of the world’s largest randomized control trials (RCT) measuring the effectiveness of our program on teacher wellbeing. The study was conducted with 421 preschools in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, which included 2,162 educators. The findings show improvements in educator well-being and significant positive changes in their students’ social and emotional competencies. These results suggest that the Educating for Wellbeing program serves as a useful tool for enhancing the well-being of educators and students, and the study serves to contribute to the broader educational psychology literature and potentially provide some insights for policy and practice in early childhood education, especially within a Mexican context.
Thanks to your generous support, we are expanding our work to support even more teachers and preschool children across Sinaloa. We look forward to continuing to share our journey with you, and would love for you to share our story with others as well! You can do this by sharing the link below with friends, colleagues and family. We greatly appreciate your kind and thoughtful support, and wish you a meaningful and joyful 2024!
