In 2024 GlobalGiving has enabled a new cohort of educators to particpate in the Educating for Wellbeing program in the state of Sinaloa. As requested by the Ministry of Education of Sinaloa, this years cohort included not only preschool, but also childcare educators for ages 0-3years old, as well as teachers and principals in special needs education, indigenous, communitary and migrant schools providing educational services to vulnerable populations in the state. Over 1,100 teachers, principals and educational authorities at different levels within the structure are enrolled in the course. This year's cohort began in late february and will conclude in July.
Thanks to your continued support and that of our other institutional donors and allies, a core group of high-performing participants will be invited to the Educating for Wellbeing's Professional Development Program and the Social and Emotional Leadership Course scheduled to begin in Sept of this year. Stay tuned for our next update!
