Breaking the Cycle of Poverty Through Education

Dear Family and Friends of AAFE,

We are committed to bringing lasting change to the most impoverished families in Afghanistan, and you are a vital part of this mission. At Aid Afghanistan for Education (AAFE), our goal has always been to uplift the most vulnerable individuals and families through education, breaking cycles of poverty and illiteracy. The testimonials of our graduates, available on our website, stand as proof of the transformation your support makes possible.

With your help, we are changing lives—one child at a time.

Let us introduce you to Mahnaz, a seven-year-old girl who, before joining our program, spent her days weaving carpets. Like her 17-year-old sister—who never had the opportunity to attend school and remains illiterate—Mahnaz believed that her future was already decided. She expected to spend her life weaving carpets, earning barely enough to survive.

But with your support, Mahnaz successfully completed first grade and is now eagerly preparing to enter second grade. She no longer sees a future limited by poverty; instead, she dreams big. She says: "I want to open a shop where my sister and mother can sell the carpets they make instead of weaving for others."

She adds: "I also want to teach other girls so they can learn instead of weaving carpets."

Your generosity is not just educating children—it is changing mindsets, empowering girls, and giving entire families a new future.  Join us in making an even greater impact! Donate today and help bring education to more children like Mahnaz. Every contribution creates a ripple effect of hope and opportunity.

Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Stay with us and witness the transformation you are making possible.

Warmly

Hassina Sherjan
