End of Year School Report

 As we approach the end of another academic year, it is both a time of reflection and anticipation. The 2022-2023 school year has been a year of growth, achievement, and resilience for our Khel community.

Academic Success and Admission in Mainstream schools: Our students have shown remarkable dedication to their studies and have improved across all grade levels, and we are proud to share that 55 students from Khel have been able to get admission in mainstream schools after one year of studying at Khel. This move allows us to give admission to more stateless children who are unable to be part of mainstream schools due to lack of identity documents.

New Admissions in Khel: Our commitment to providing a dynamic and innovative learning environment continued to flourish. With collaboration with the Kar Muqabla platform and digitizing learning, Khel was able to admit new children with the total of the year to be at 91.

Extracurricular Activities: Our students enjoyed events and field trips during the school year. They were invited by a generous donor to visit a local urban forest which also houses animals kept in their own habitat.  Independence Day was also celebrated with much furor by all children. An Eid Milan party was also organized by the children of the community

Board Exams for the Older Kids: 5 of the older kids of Khel were able to participate in the board exams. These children are also part of the gymnastics team and have been able to receive Child Registration Certificate through Imkaan’s legal teams support. The result of the same will be announced in December, 2023.

 Cultural and Community Engagement: This year, our school community and the community at large participated in awareness raising and cleaning campaign of the community streets around the centre.

The end of the school year is an opportunity to appreciate the achievements and growth of our school community. We look forward to the future with enthusiasm, knowing that our students are well-prepared for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
