Dear all,
Well once again I have been focussing on the feed and facility costs and have failed to push the education project. But even without my pushing your generous donations came to $112 which proves to me how much people do care about education. I certainly don’t need telling how important it is to an organisation and its cause.
So, in order to get the most bang for your donated buck, I have decided to produce a banner for our prominent (and currently empty) billboard on one of the busiest roundabouts in the country. Unfortunately, $112 is not quite enough for what I want.
New Year, New Strategy: I am going to attempt a quick promotion on Facebook to try and double or even quadruple that amount, which will be enough for a 10’x5’ or maybe even 10’x10’ vinyl banner ($213 and $406 respectively) which can stay up for no cost at all for as long as the banner itself lasts.
So here I go – off with my collection tin. You have already donated and got the ball rolling but if you feel so inclined, you could pass the ball to someone else by using the ‘share’ feature on the campaign. I am giving myself one week to raise the money. Ready… Set…. Watch this space!
