Dear all,
It is with regret that we have decided to shelve this project for a little while. It's not that it is not necessary: it is probably more effective than anything we do - but... it's baby season and we are tied up financially and physically with the hands-on work with the birds. In addition we had a disaster with our vehicle and need to somehow acquire a new one. We are attending several summer-school programs over the next couple of weeks and will be using hand-outs that you have helped to fund. We will continue our education programmes but will utilise resources we already have for a while.
So for now we say thank you SO much for your generosity. Rest assured everything you donated is being used for education, and that our fabulous "Fly Free' billboard still stands at the Guanacaste Junction and entrance to Belmopan City.
If you have any tax-deductible funds to send our way, there is a Bonus Day on July 12th where GlobalGiving will add 50% to your donation while funds remain. We are launching a new microproject fundraiser for vehicle (https://goto.gg/28687), so please spread the word and let’s try and get BBR back on the road again.
