Education and Healthcare for 81 Albinos in Rwanda

In this difficult pandemic period; things are not running well as usually. Lockdowns have affected economically all projects elsewhere in the world. IDA Rwanda as one of the non-government charity organization which runs all activities under financial support of different partners and donors; as covid 19 affected our donors and partners we are also directly affected. Despite of all those issues, some of our partners struggle to find what to do for vulnerable people in this period. Under this limited support we have tried to reach to the most vulnerable of our beneficiaries affected by the pandemic. We distributed food, school materials, soaps and facemasks to our beneficiaries; we also taught them how to take strong measures in order to stay safe and stop spreading covid 19.

As, we all know, more than 7 months living in a difficult pandemic period. Rural community especially people living with some handicaps are suffering of hunger. this is a reason why in this period,IDA Rwanda has focused on supporting most suffering beneficiaries to find food for eating ,hygienic materials  and education.

Because of limited resources, we have served a limited number of beneficiaries. 23 people received food and hygienic material while 16 received only hygienic materials and education.  Amonst them 10 were adult and 29 children.  There is no campagn cause the bad situation we are living since long ago.IDA Rwanda team continue to advocate and trying to stimulate even individuals and organisations to help us supporting these miserable people in rural community.

We will always recognize, everyone physical and moral people who supported us to achieve all these in this pandemic period. Truly we are very thankful. At the end we are still requesting everyone with a helping will to support us so that we can serve more and more on a little thing from you. Thank you!
