Education & hope for 165 needy children in India

As we welcome 2026, Reaching Hand’s New Home Program continues to stand as a sanctuary of hope and opportunity for underprivileged girls. More than a shelter, it is a place where resilience is nurtured, dreams are ignited and every milestone becomes a triumph. The past months have been filled with meaningful activities that reflect both growth and joy in the lives of our children.

• Academic Commitment: To excel in their studies, our girls dedicated extra hours to revising subjects and engaging in focused study sessions, strengthening their exam preparation and confidence.

• Life Skills Training: Through interactive sessions, they learned essential skills—effective communication, problem-solving, time management, cooperation, independence, and responsibility—equipping them to face challenges with courage.

• Creative Expression: Three of our bright girls proudly participated in a one-day workshop and painting competition on “Vision of Vikshat Bharat 2047”, showcasing their creativity and aspirations for the future.

• Celebrating Birthdays: At New Home, birthdays are cherished moments of joy. The girls celebrated with cake cutting, songs, and heartfelt wishes, creating memories of love and belonging.

• Fun & Games: From balancing marbles on spoons to the classic “Slow & Steady Wins the Race”, the children embraced laughter, teamwork and friendly competition—learning patience, focus and the joy of trying together.

• Music & Creativity: Keyboard and music classes opened new avenues of self-expression. Each note played nurtured creativity, focus and confidence, helping the girls discover the joy of rhythm and melody.

Together, these experiences embody the spirit of transformation, tenderness, and triumph. As we close the chapter of 2025 and step into 2026, we remain committed to empowering every girl at New Home with education, care and opportunities to thrive.
