Hello Jerusalem Biblical Zoo supporters!
Since we last reported to you about our busy and fruitful summer holiday period, the new school year has begun and this means that all of our regular education programming has reopened for the 2018/2019 school year.
This programming includes the Animal Assisted Therapy Program for children and adults with special needs; the Gifted Students’ Program; the Youth Patrol Teen Volunteer Program; the Arabic Language Program; the Ultra Orthodox Community Program; After School Programs for School Students; and much more.
In addition, this week we had a countrywide municipal election day and so we ran special voting activities at the Zoo – where visitors could vote for their favorite animals. This was a fun and educational activity for the whole family as the voting was set up exactly as it is at the regular polls!
We have also ran a photography contest recently with the entries exhibited in our visitor center.
Thank you for being a part of our efforts to educate our community in an atmosphere of inclusion and tolerance.
