Hello Jerusalem Biblical Zoo supporters!
Spring came to Jerusalem in a blaze of color this year! As the rainy weather gradually subsided and the sun came out, we scheduled more outdoor special educational activities at the Zoo.
On January 25th hundreds of visitors attended our annual arbor day activities. Fun tree planting activities for the whole family teach our visitors about the importance of trees and sustainable development of our resources.
On April 9th, there were national elections in Israel which meant that the schools and workplaces closed for a public holiday. We encouraged visitors to join us for a special “election” at the Zoo. Visitors could vote for their favorite animals and learn more about them at the same time.
This week we are gearing up for Spring break activities during the Passover vacation which will include nature conservation workshops, keeper talks and presentations and educational animal training and feeding sessions.
Thank you for being a part of our efforts to educate our community in an atmosphere of inclusion and tolerance.
