For the first time in recent years, the summer and holiday programming at the Zoo has included guided tours and night tours in Arabic.
This year's tours includes: Sunset with the Elephants, Predators Up Close, Africa without a passport and Smart in the Dark, which starts after dark and reveals what happens at the Zoo after nightfall - including discovering that there are many animal visitors to the Zoo, who aren't actually its residents!
The pilot tour was Predators Up Close led by one of our talented Arabic-speaking (also Hebrew and English!) guides, Natalie (pictured above in the Lions'Den with the group). She was accompanied by the Chief Carnivore Keeper, Benjamin).
The pilot was well attended and we hope to be able to add more content such as this in Arabic throughout the coming year.
Have a healthy winter,
Rachael and the Education Team
