It is journey of Aslam [ 7yrs old orphan HIV child] within scope of DESIRE Society Hyderabad Care Home which is reflected as described below:
With loss of both HIV parents, he was admitted at Hyderabad care home. From the day of joining itself he is improving physical as well as health status. He is gaining weight and physically improving upon the general status. Even , the CD4 count is increased reflecting better health status.
The cooperation from his end , itself gives the sign of improvement in all the fronts. He is enrolled for in campus schooling in UKG standard at the time of admission. After a year or so of admission, he is improved in educational standards too. This will make him to get enrolled for outside private schooling. We are sure of getting him obtain the entry for same schooling as he is fit to attend it.
Hope , it is reunited efforts of DESIRE donors to take up challenge of serving such HIV children at Hyderabad Care Home level in future too. It is just story of one such child taken care but we have hundred ’s of such children in desperate need of such rehabilitation processes.
