Dear friends,
You have changed so many little children's lives by contributing to OBAT's Preschool projects. Here is the story of just one of those hundreds of chidren.
Jibon is a precious five year old boy who studies at OBAT's Khulna Preschool. His father, Mr. Lukman drives a rickshaw for a living. His daily income is about $2. Chanda Begum, his mother, works as a maid in several homes and earns $26 a month.
Jibon is deeply interested in studying. According to him, his dad did not get a chance to study and for that reason, he had to become a rickshaw driver. Jibon thinks that being a rickshaw driver is a very difficult job. He wants to be educated so he can find a good job when he grows up.
Many boys like Jibon are pursuing such dreams. OBAT’s mission is to try to make these dreams come true by empowering them through education.
Thank you for helping Jibon and so many other children pursue their dreams. By going to preschools, these children are prepared to take and pass the tests that will give them admission into elementary schools.
So far, you have helped us raise $5,380. Help us raise the remaining $8,370 and reach our goal.
