Dear friends,
Hope you are as happy as we are to welcome the sunny summer months! The sun always shines a little brighter at OBAT’s preschools- the little kids are always in such high spirits and bring so much cheer to everyone around them. In fact, we would like you to meet one of them:
Aysha is a five year old girl who lives in the Ispahani camp. This camp is located in the city of Rangpur which is one of the northern cities in Bangladesh. Her father’s name is Mohammad Zabed and mother is, Moyna Begum. Aysha’s father peddles second hand clothing for a living while her mother stays at home to take care of Aysha and her siblings.
Aysha loves to go to school and is a very bright student. She also loves to play with her friends and likes to draw. Even though she’s been around for only five years, she already has her future profession pretty much cut out! She wants to be a teacher and teach kids like her who live in the camps.
Thank you for enabling kids like Aysha to have such dreams. Your compassion for these children has helped us raise $11,180 so far! With just, $2,570 remaining, we are fast approaching the home stretch.
We want to leave you with some happy photos from an end of the year class room party at our Chittagong Preschool. Thank you for spreading so much happiness in so many little lives.
Cheers!
The OBAT team.
