Dear Friend,
thanks a lot for your support. It is thanks to people like you that we could open again the Center Pinocchio and its canteen to the children of Panciu after Christmas.
Although with little means we are trying to resist. Even if the local institutions do not support our work, we are trying to continue with the help of the volunteers and the friends like you.
It is hard but we must try for them, the children: the heart that makes us beat every day.
In Romania we normally do not celebrate the Carnival. But, thanks to our Italian volunteers we organized a very great party with a lot of fun! Masks, colors, face painting and fun games animated a wonderful February day.
The children’s laughter, those beautiful smiling faces cheer us up, and tell us that we are doing the right thing, that this is the way forward. And one day we hope that many more people will open their eyes and understand that making a child happy is an investment in the future of the world.
For our periodical report, we would like to share with you a video of one of the volunteer in Panciu: Layma. She is a teacher from Germany. She spent 4 months in the Center Pinocchio helping the staff in the activities with the children.
