Dear friends and donors,
95% of Afghanistan's children with disabilities do not have access to education due to environmental barriers and lack of dedicated facilities.
Action for Development supports the community-driven Rahyab School in Kabul, Afghanistan, which provides education to children with disabilities aged 6 to 18.
The Rahyab School plays a vital role in serving this marginalized community; challenges remain high in securing sustainable funding and expanding this model to other regions of the country.
Action for Development supports the school by providing meals to the children enrolled; closed for the winter period, the school is expected to re-open as of the 21st of March 2020 with about 850 children attending classes.
In order to continue supporting the school, Action for Development calls on our kind donor community to contribute to make it possible! Every donation counts!

On behalf of the team at AfD, we thank you for your generosity and extend to you our warmest regards,
Action for Development
