Hello dear friends,
We are happy to let you know that INSAN has been continuing to provide education support to the most marginalized and vulnerable youth and women in Lebanon.
In fact in addition to our ongoing vocational training program where young adults and women are coming together to learn and enhance their skills in the cooking and catering industry and where they learn cooking and pastry from different cuisines.
INSAN has also been providing a group of youth with basic literacy and numeracy. These youth are children of refugees and migrants in Lebanon who have dropped out of school and lost all potential and prospect of continuing their education in a formal setting. With this program, INSAN is giving back hope to these youth as to have the opportunity to progress in their studies and dream about a better and brighter future.
In addition to that INSAN is continuing to also provide psycho-social support to the families and individuals who are in need of it.
In the past trimester, 25 women and youth benefited form the cooking classes (vocational training) and 21 youth have followed the literacy classes in addition to 32 families and 14 individuals who benefited from the psycho-social support.
