Dental Camp at JAAGO Rangpur

Health is one of the important aspects of quality education. Without a sound health no one can realize the value of education. To ensure the betterment of health JAAGO School Rangpur has organized a dental camp where more than 15 doctors from the most reputed Medical Hospital in Rangpur; Rangpur Medical Collage has visited and gave free check-up to JAAGO Rangpur School’s students. They also had a free eye checkup facility with them for our students. This hospital organizes such health check-up program for JAAGO School in every 2 month. Not only that they also have provided our students with a health card to subscribe 50% waiver on health care facility at Government health institution and hospitals. This created a healthy and secure educational environment at JAAGO Rangpur School.

Mothers' Day at JAAGO Schools

Like everyone else the students of the JAAGO Foundation went all out to make their mothers feel a little more special than regular on Mother’s Day. The woman who is the sole reason for our existence is bound to get a tad bit more attention on a day dedicated to just her. The students made individual cards as well as color portraits for their mothers to take back home as gifts for their mothers. During this time teachers from the school helped the students make the gift cards for their mother and the students also created posters in groups writing their wish for their mother.

Bengali New Year Celebrations at JAAGO

Bangla New Year is the most colorful occasion in Bangladeshi culture. People around the country celebrate this day with a festive mood. In the morning people of every community come down to the street to welcome the first Sun of the year. Different cultural association and organizations also celebrate this day through different cultural activity. Students at JAAGO schools also welcomed the Bangla New Year 1422 with a cultural program where students from JAAGO School have performed rhymes, songs and traditional Bengali dances. The students sported traditional Bengali attire in white, red and yellows. The students put on display hand crafted goodies and arts at a fair they themselves had organized. People from the community also visited this fair which later became a get together of the parents of our students.
