Celebrating the Victory Day of Bangladesh

Our kids went back to that wonderful joyous memory of that day where we won The 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. On 16th December 2016, the celebration of Victory Day knew no bounds. Our students celebrated this day with victory songs, stage performances and art competition in JAAGO schools all over the country.

World Class WNBA Player`s visit to JAAGO

With the amazing support of American Center to Bangladesh, we had the pleasant visit of the  WNBA Player and Olympian gold medalist in our JAAGO Foundation Rayer Bazar School. The young students of our school and volunteers of Volunteer for Bangladesh (The Youth Wing of JAAGO Foundation) had spent a lovely time by meeting and interacting with the energetic athlete where they also took part in a session of exercise to improve fitness. Moreover, our other distinguished guests from U.S. Embassy-Dhaka were also present in this significant visit to make the day more charming for our children.

Trading in Stars!

The JAAGO Banani School students already engaged in a fun form of commerce to collect their favorite goodies! Donations collected from JAAGO patrons are pooled to introduce and conduct a “Class Market” where children exchange their stars for fun goodies on sale! Students are rewarded with stars for appropriate behavior and class performance. Each star is worth BDT 5 and can be used as currency to buy items at the market place! This practice is widely popular amongst the children and keeps them on their best behavior all year round!

Ekushey Book Fair 2016

On 16th February 2016, 30 students from our Rayerbazar and Banani School took a detailed tour of the yearlong anticipated popular Ekushey Book Fair. On this day these students enjoyed their hearts out roaming around from one book stall to another. The colorful covers of the new books, the fresh smell of the new pages and the book cover decors created endless smiles on the faces of our children. Also, our children took participation in donating old story books for the other underprivileged kids in remote areas of Bangladesh who do not have the facility of reading creative story books. Altogether, they explored a new world full of imagination where they created a pathway to wonderland of knowledge for other kids as well.

Thank You

We strongly thank all our supporters for being our shade throughout this journey. This was only possible only because we stood by each other. Only thanking you will not suffice of what you have done for us. That is the exact reason we are incorporating our current project “Education for Underprivileged Children” with our “Free of cost School for Underprivileged Children” project for a much greater cause. Stay with us and let’s celebrate the change, together.
