Education Fund for 25 High School Students in Bali

Dear Donors, 

May this report find you well. 

On April 9, YKIP started the scholarship distribution to the students who live in Karangasem Regency.  It is the second distribution event we have this year. The distribution then continued to Denpasar, Mengwi, and Gianyar regency. By the first month of May, YKIP expects the distribution in two other areas, Pengotan and Tejakula will finish.

During the event, YKIP distributed transport allowances to all students. This allowance is expected to help the students cover the transportation cost to the school. With this support, we hope that there is no student discontinue their education because they are unable to come to school because they don't have the money to pay transportation fees. 

We also bid farewell to 12 grader students who we met for the last time. In a few weeks, the 85 students will get their high school diploma and will no longer become KEMBALI Scholarship program beneficiaries. We collect thank you letters from them to be forwarded to their donors.

This is what a student in Gianyar wrote in her letter:

"The scholarship I got from YKIP enables me to continue my study in Senior High School. I also got support in planning my career. I was invited to the career planning workshop December last year. I learned from great speakers in the workshop. I can plan my future better after attending the workshop."
