Our itinerant program "Making Lupa" of literacy and games began to receive children and adolescents in its different spaces with the following activities:
In the parish of Caacupé, located in villa 21-24, we are working on the projects "Detectives de mundos y voz" and "Let's do science" with groups from first to seventh grade.
At Club Santa Lucía, located in the Barracas neighborhood, we begin School Support classes where we accompany the educational trajectories of our recipients.
Also we made a solidarity call to collaborate with children in their school start.
From our program Making LuPa we work stories and expression.
In the meeting that you see in the first we listen to the story ´Cuello Duro´ written by Elsa Bornemann and we represent it with puppets of its main characters; then we invite the boys and girls to make their own puppet out of recycled material.
Puppets are an important pedagogical resource where boys and girls stimulate their imagination and creativity; awaken their artistic aptitudes through
dramatization and participation. In addition to being an excellent resource to play, share in a group and generate a taste for reading.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
