After the winter break, Haciendo Lupa resumed with renewed energy to continue strengthening our work. We are convinced that literature and poetry are powerful tools for caregiving and for opening doors to sensitive and imaginative worlds in early childhood.
In our most recent gathering with the educators of the Pilarcitos Early Childhood Center (CPI), we shared poetic games, readings, and a deep conversation that allowed us to reflect on the role of language, beauty, and imagination in caregiving spaces. From this collective process, our first zine was born: “Words that Embrace”, a selection of texts by inspiring women authors.
In this new stage, we will not only continue visiting the 2- and 3-year-old classrooms at CPI, but also bring these workshops to other organizations and early childhood centers, reinforcing our work alongside teachers and communities to create creative, sensitive, and transformative environments.
Thank you to everyone who makes this project possible. Your support is key to ensuring that these workshops, gatherings, and personalized accompaniment continue to grow and reach more children.
