Inclusive Schooling for Children with Disabilities

Greetings from BPA INDIA!!

I hope this progress report finds you in Great Spirit and Health. We are very thankful to you for your very generous support, and trust onto us in such difficult time of Covid 19. Without your support, it would have been difficult to provide good quality educational services to the poor students live in rural areas. 

Our both the inclusive schools have provided education services to the students with disabilities and without disabilities through virtual mode. The students with disabilities and without disabilities who are poor, and did not have smart phones to access the education, the smart phones with data support. This support had enabled these poor students with disabilities and without disabilties to access education without any interprution. The teachers also did regular home visit to asses the basic literacy level of young students who were enrolled during the Covid 19 pandamic time. The teachers have been working very hard, with dedication. 

The Department of Education has issued a notification to reopen the school for the Std 6th to Std 12th. The parents were reclutant to send the children to the inclusive school due to covid 19. The school teachers started street educations at the village level   The teachers have identified common places with the support of parents, and local community. The managment and teachers have taken all measures for education. 

Now, the teachers provide education in three ways; one is physical education at the school level, street education at village level, and virtual education. 

We have also upgraded the school facilities in the both inclusive schools; the smart classroom facilities have been set up in the schools, the students have been benefiting from this facilities. They explore and learn. 

The students have also celerbrated the festivals and National Days in the school.
