Dear Donors, Well Wishers,

Greetings!!

We are delighted to share with you that with your support, we have reached out to these children with disabilities and children from poor economic conditions. They have been admitted to the inclusive school and provided free transportation, uniforms, school stationery, and other facilities without any charges.

We are so excited to share with you that there has been demand from the local community to start Junior K.G. and Senior K.G. This year, we have started Junior and Senior K.G. for children who are from poor financial conditions.

Now, we have education services from Jr. K.G to Std 8th. This year, the total strength of the school has reached 539, wherein 289 are girls, and 33 students have disabilities.

This year, the Sammalit School was selected for the model inclusive school of Ahmedabad district under the project of Perkins India, under the guidance of Perkins International, USA. The teachers of Sammalit Pathshala were given 7 days of intensive training on the very important subjects; Child Future Plan, Curriculum development, curriculum adaptation, and inclusive education, classroom environment. This training was really helpful to understand their role as a teacher in Inclusive Education. They have immediately taken corrective measures to make schools more inclusive.

This year, a special welcome drive was organized for those students who were admitted in the current academic year. They enjoyed.
This year, the school uniform was also stitched by women with disabilities. The orders were given to make them indentpent.

We also did renovation work in the school building, and classrooms and other areas have been improved.

We request you kindly motivate your friends and family members to join this cause, and support.

We also request you visit the school and BPA whenever you happen to be in India. We love to show our activities in detail.

Thanking you
