This month, through this project, 8 young people with limited resources have been able to enroll in different educational institutions, to access higher and university education through different government programs. With the support of the psychologist that guides the project, the young people received advice and accompaniment to gather the documentation and carry out the registration process, now we are waiting for them to confirm if everyone is going to be able to start studying their professional career.
Each year thousands of young people close to their degree in secondary education begin an arduous search for the right institution to pursue their higher education and yet in Colombia only 34% of young people gain access to a higher education institution, this problem is accentuated more in young people with scarce resources, poor communities and forgotten by the state.
