"Education for vulnerable youth in COLOMBIA"

I had to wait a long time. Time itself lost meaning, an hour was a day, a day a week, and it felt like my whole life was gray, sad and alone. Feeling the emptiness of not having a home, without love or care from a family.

My name is Elena, my life has been hard, very hard. In my adolescence, at the age of 15, my future was uncertain. But something changed, when I got to SUPERARSE, my life took a 180 degree turn, and after I turned 18, surprisingly, they continued to be my family, as I always hoped. They continued to help me, ensuring that my path continued straight and bright. Thanks to Superarse I was able to obtain a full educational scholarship at a good university, they found me sponsors who supported me with transportation, the purchase of books and even a computer! I never thought my life would change like this, so drastically.

At 25 years old, I am still part of the SUPERARSE Autonomous Living Program (PROGRAMA PARA LA VIDA AUTONOMA), where they continue to be concerned about my progress, so that I continue to grow and believe that there is hope, that what we had to experience in our childhood and adolescence does not define us.

Now I have a career, I graduated as a social worker and I have a good job, I also became a Super Godmother! (monthly recurring donation) Now I can help other children and young people like me, be able to transform their lives in SUPERARSE, themselves and that makes me immensely happy.
