Project Report | Oct 27, 2015
Improving day by day

By Claudia Zapata | Project Leader

Here are our main accomplishments for this period:

  • A field day activity with 22 high school graduates took place in "Parque de los Pies Descalzos” located in the center of Medellin. The teaching method used was the “stages of the butterfly” in which the main objective was to show the different steps in any process in life, an approach that consists in planning for small goals. Afterwards we did outdoors activities with the group.
  • Assisted 15 graduates in the admissions process to SENA institution, and facilitated our computer center so they could take their admissions test, with excellent results.
  • The graduates actively participated in the decoration of the computer center that serves as location for the program “Preparación para la Vida Autónoma", with the goal that through art, the assistants of the program would express their thoughts and feelings.
  • Superarse did a kite flying day in the “Cerro Nutibara" an emblematic place of Medellín. The graduates enjoyed flying their kites, with the key theme of the activity been “short term goals”, showing them the importance planning in life with the program “Proyecto de Vida”.
