Helping to create decent living projects

- In December closures and program evaluations were performed, achieving the consolidation of the "Preparation for independent living" within the Corporation in 2015.

- The closing activity was performed with a cinema film forum "Intensely" to work on the issue of emotions.

- The participants had yoga classes and worked with mandalas to strengthen self-control, concentration and creativity.

- The season of Christmas and New Year was an opportunity for the meeting of alumni groups, located in different parts of the city.

- The program "Preparation for Independent Living" continues to offer the computer room for the benefit of the graduates of the Corporation, it is currently used by 24 graduates.

 

Academic, nutritional and other achievements.

- Alliances are created with the Corporation Children's Village so our users can access the "Meaningful Life" program.

- The Corporation provides nutritional support for 4 families of graduates who are in extreme poverty through a monthly market.

- 32 graduates benefited foodservice during planned activities in the Corporation.

- The Corporation made new agreements and strengthened old institutional arrangements to access technical, technological and university academic offerings with: ICBF-SENA, SENA-Presencia Colombo Suiza, CENSA, CESDE, CEIPA, and for validation of high school deals with: educational institution Cervantes, Guayacanes educational institution, educational institution CEPAR.

- In the first half of 2016, 5 users of the program begin their university studies in the CEIPA, Pontificia Bolivariana University and the Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid.

 

Activities with families

- We conduct home visits to family and phone tracking cases.

- We conduct workshops with family groups and social support networks to reflect on "cooperation" by helping them create strategies.

 

Educational activities

- The accompaniment of children and adolescents who enjoy the year-end season with their biological families, provided to set targets for "Independent Living" in 2016.

- The participation of 6 graduates the closing event of youth clubs with the Ministry of Youth in the “Parque de Banderas” is highlighted, enjoying concerts, talks and recreation.

- Psychosocial counseling to 25 graduates in order to sensitize them to the future prospects, facilitated clarities in the objectives set for 2016.
