Achievements and Social Network:

Continue agreements and alliances to bring beneficiaries goods and services that help strengthening their Life Project, as follows: 

  • Job training: Manpower.
  • Complementary studies, technical, technological or university: Colombian Institute for Family Welfare / Sena, CESDE, Sena, Ceipa, Censa, Fine Arts, Polytechnic Gran Colombian, Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid, Presence Colombo Switzerland.
  • Opportunities for leisure, culture and recreation: Inder, Popular Theater of Medellin, Network Medellin Danzas Corporation Children's Village.
  • Options Study (Validation): Educational Institution Gymnasium Guayacanes, Cendi, Cepar, Colegio Cervantes.
  • Support opportunities for higher education: Gandhi Foundation.
  • Access to goods and social services: Secretaries of Family and Inclusion Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Youth, City Don Bosco, Parks Libraries, Comfama.
  • Generation of new projects: Bancolombia, Nutresa Foundation Foundation.

 

Academic Achievement and Community Projection:

12 beneficiaries continue their studies at a technical, technological or professional level: Assembly and Maintenance of computers, Visual Arts, Table and Bar, Business Administration, Cooking, Football Technical Management, Systems Engineering, Psychology, Information Networks.

Eight young forward technical, technological or higher studies with scholarships or quotas managed by the Corporation Superarse. Of these young benefits from the National Higher Education program with the scholarship "Ser Pilo Paga".

Four beneficiaries including a parent continued or returned to the Educational System in validation mode.

Four teenagers end their systems with additional training in the Sena.

Four beneficiaries began training in the performing arts and dances.

Six beneficiary still in the process through the "Guardians of Life" human accompaniment of young adults by professionals with leadership pipeline project.

Four graduates currently receive financial support, in order to move to their technical, technological or university studies.

50 children, adolescents of other ONGs and the Committee Institution Rehabilitation, attend training and awareness in the “La Huerta Ecologica”, Time Planting project in order to bring them pedagogical and playful manner the issue of environment through workshops and practical activities.

Continue projects related to the Inter line: Aula Project (accompaniment leadership projects or community outreach) and Project Guardian Life (counching with beneficiaries) in charge of the Nutresa Foundation, Ideas that Transform (economic and human support Project environmental) educational project by the Bancolombia Foundation.

 

Activities with families

Continuous attention to families, meetings, contacts, advice and home family visits, in order to analyze the sociofamialires situations of some young people and bring them to programs, offer goods and services or for different support from the Superarse Corporation as: access to school places, access to feeding programs, referrals to psychology and other areas of health, employment referrals to sources, among others.

Permanent monthly contact with families, to monitor and strengthen their link with the life choices of their children.

 

Educational activities

90 children and adolescents receive information to the "Preparation for Independent Living" program, educational options, recreation options, training in life skills in their projection.

Empathy, Assertive Communication and Relationships skills were worked.

28 beneficiaries between 10 and 14 years and between 15 and 22 years benefit through group care training in life skills and educational and cultural outings, with a view to sound social development and strengthening of the life cycle in the Hotbed groups and Youth Club.

Each month an average of 34 follow-ups are made, either by phone, visits to other institutions where they receive protection services or personally, to know how their life projects and bring them to different offers.

61 beneficiaries participated in a Meeting, where the talents of young people who are currently studying technical or technological careers worked, the issue of youth employment and decisions worked on the plan of life, cultural shows with an external youth art group and support of various companies for the event.

 

Operating Activities:

Eight university students under agreement with University Uniminuto in practice Social Responsibility in line with environmental education for children and adolescents.

Monthly efforts for the development of group activities were conducted: Ministry of Culture, Teatro Pablo Tobon Uribe, Museum University of Antioquia, Medellin Metro, Bancolombia Foundation, Institute Torun, Nutresa Foundation, Grupo Familia, Stationery Colombia, Sena, team of the Corporation Superarse and volunteers.
