PREPARING FOR AUTONOMOUS LIFE

FIRST QUARTER OF 2017

Interinstitutional Achievements and Network of Social Institutions:

  • Initiatives have been initiated focused on the reactivation of the agreements and alliances that support the graduates in the consolidation of their project of life:
  • Visionary Youth Program- Manpower: 11 graduates participating actively in the Program since January.
  • With agreements and Professional, Technical and Technological Training in: SENA, CEIPA, CESDE,                          CENSA, Polytechnic Gran Colombiano, Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid and Colombo Switzerland                          Presence, Pontificia Bolivariana University, University Of Medellin.   We highlight the continuity in the                        ICBF / SENA agreement.
  • 1 graduate studying Psychology at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
  • 1 graduate studying Engineering in Energy at the University of Medellin.
  • 1 graduate, studying Audiovisual Communication and 1 graduate studying Computer Engineering at the                    Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid.
  • 1 graduate studying Technology and Systems Administration at the Gran Colombiano Polytechnic.
  • 1 graduate studying Computer Assembly and Maintenance and 2 graduates studying Technician in                             Operation of Events at CENSA.
  • 2 graduates studying Administration at CEIPA.
  • In the validation modality, the relationship with: Educational Institution Gimnasio Guayacanes, CEPAR and Nuevo Cervantes School, continues.
  • As for opportunities for financial support to continue higher studies, the alliance with the Gandhi                                  Foundation and the Fraternidad Medellín Foundation is maintained.
  • We carry out the management with the Corporations “Sueños y Huellas del Mañana”, an entity that                            supports training processes specifically for women.
  • Corporación Superarse continues to support the graduates with the transportation subsidy for the                                transfer to the places of study. And continues with the "Nutre Foundation", the accompaniment to                                 graduates through the program Tutors of Life and Academic Tutors.
  • He is currently carrying out an investigation with the Aula project and the University of Antioquia, called                       "Knowing to do, have and be", in which 30 graduates are participating.

 

 Great achievements:

  • 1 graduated as a Plastic Artist working as a teacher in the NGO Presencia Colombo Suiza.
  • 1 graduate graduated as Librarian, working at the National University and in the process of training in the                  Master in Digital Marketing, virtual mode.
  • 1 graduate graduated as Nursing Assistant.
  • 1 graduate graduated as Drafting Technician of Architecture and in process of training in Technology as                      Architectural Draftsman in the College.

 

In this program, we continue to implement training and guidance to young people who are linked in the Youth Club, with many growth plans, so that with their contributions, more and more young people can fulfill the dream of being professionals and leave their cycle of poverty.
