Project Report | Aug 29, 2025
TOGETHER, we make it happen

By Marianella Paul | Director Autismo en Voz Alta

Dear friends and donors,

I am thrilled to report from the field at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.

We celebrated the completion of the class of 2025—an unforgettable gathering where families, teachers, and donors came together. The joy on the faces of our children, the pride in the eyes of parents, the warmth in every hug, and the laughter that filled the air—these are moments that remind us why we do this work.

Our end-of-year celebration radiated the joy of shared achievements. Your steadfast support not only makes these transformative moments possible but also enables us to reach an increasing number of families and transform how educational institutions address neurodiversity.

OUR collective impact inspires us. Hundreds of kids and young adults have been positively impacted.

Highlights from 2024-2025: 631 families served (a 6% increase from last year), 396 diagnoses conducted (up 4% from last year), 1,792 hours of support and progress in therapy provided (on par with last year), 480 people joined our training programs, spreading awareness and skills, 316 individuals and companies stood with us for change

Yet, as we approach the new school year, the landscape is daunting. Our phones ring with more pleas for help every week. Behind each number is a child who dreams, a family who hopes, a future at stake.

Recent data reminds us: 1 in 7 individuals is neurodiverse, and 1 in 31 children is diagnosed with autism. The need is urgent—and growing.

But the economic hardship is relentless. Soaring prices—education costs rising by 35% in May, food and health close behind—make each step more challenging. Inflation, at 229% on an annualized basis, surpasses salaries and savings, and our currency loses value by the day - more than 70% of its value between October 2024 and June 2025.

Still, amidst adversity, your generosity is a beacon of hope.

At Autismo en Voz Alta, we remain unwavering in our commitment to persevering and contributing effectively to building a society where diversity fosters compassion, creativity, and productivity.

Our 19 years of experience, the dedication of our extraordinary team, and the love that forms our foundation drive us forward. We won’t give up—and thanks to your support, we don’t have to.

Thank you for sharing this journey with us and trusting us with your social investment. Now more than ever, your financial support is the foundation of our mission and progress. Your generosity drives awareness and progress.

With heartfelt gratitude and hope, Marianella
