We were thrilled to hear this testimony from one of the women who has branched out in a new direction, using the skills she gained along the way by participating in the Bothoor Alkhaer program.
“Hello, my name is Souad, a displaced mother of 5 children, 3 girls, 2 parents. I sincerely hope that everything is fine with you, your health, your family, and your organization. I have been waiting for this moment to share with you what I am doing at this moment with everything your organization has planted in me for 13 years.” In general, I am cooperating in a project to establish a sewing workshop in a shelter in a camp for displaced people, with the aim of providing support to displaced and poor families who are fighting for a better life due to displacement and marginalization.
I will be responsible for educating and assisting these women in their emotional recovery, and I will put all the knowledge gained into practice. It was an experience full of many challenges as my flexibility allowed me to find teaching methods for this type of group of students and it reaffirmed that everything I learned was essential for me in this process and I am very grateful to you and the organization. He works very hard.
I know this story will make you very happy because indirectly your foundation is part of the fact that I can do this work to empower these women who have a very powerful reality. Yanina
Empowering economically disadvantaged women in Diyala and helping them develop leadership and initiative skills and achieve self-sufficiency is one of our goals, and we appreciate your support. It's a win/win when women can learn skills, earn income, feel productive, help others, and through all of this their communities become a better place for everyone.
