Education and Training Center for Street Children

Providing Filipino children in street circumstances (CiSS) with holistic growth in terms of health, social assistance, and education is one of ChildHope Philippines' objectives. Their consistent efforts and achievements since 1989 have been directed on securing a brighter future for the CiSS. Their fundamental values are in line with this mission, which calls for helping one child at a time with compassion and dedication.  

With this in mind, Childhope has already demonstrated their commitment to improving children's education by launching Project Bamboo, an initiative that empowers street youth and gives kids and young adults the opportunity to push their education through vocational training in order to become self-sufficient and have a better future. 

The organization believes that through Project Bamboo, we will be able to provide and help them more if we also allow them to work in a safe and secure place. Childhope proposes an Education and Training Center which will serve as their learning center and the headquarters of Childhope Philippines Foundation, Inc. As this will serve as a vital part of our community’s infrastructure, we can guarantee that we can continue to make a more comprehensive range of programs and services designed to support the development and well-being of our beneficiaries.

The organization believes that by allowing them to work in a safe and secure environment, we would be able to provide and assist them more through Project Bamboo. Childhope proposes constructing an education and training center, which would also serve as the organization's main office and learning center. The organization can assure that we will be able to continue offering a greater variety of services and initiatives aimed at promoting the growth and welfare of our beneficiaries since this will serve a crucial role in the infrastructure of our community.

As of this moment, ChildHope has already created an architectural plan for the center and continues to raise funding to cover costs towards construction through donations made to the charity and through their GlobalGiving website. With your support, we can continue providing these young people access to high-quality education, career training, and life skills to ensure that they can break the cycle of poverty and realize their full potential. By aiding with our objective, you will be contributing in the development of a more just and equitable society for all, as well as a better future for these remarkable youth.
