By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your support to our initiative mitigating the effects of El Nino by supporting farmers with water, sanitation and hygiene resources. The effect of the El Nino phenomenon is felt by erratic weather patterns and difficulty in predicting farming seasons. We are focusing our support this time by the conduct of training among local farmers on how to mitigate the effects of the El Nino by the raising of climate-resilient crops such as root crops, heirloom vegetables and fruit and timber trees. We were able to conduct 2 trainings involving 60 farmers during this time and we aim to conduct more trainings in the coming months. Your support to us is essential and hoping that you will continue to donate to our work.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
