First, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support of FTPF's work in El Salvador. It is really encouraging to see donations coming in during these challenging times, motivating our team to continue this important work to bring the life-sustaining benefits of fruit trees to the people and landscape of El Salvador.
On that note, we are in the planning stages for our 2021 project. Trees are being grown at our partner nursery, in collaboration with our longtime friends at CONFRAS and SHARE El Salvador, to be distributed to farmers and families next summer. In addition to the income and nutrition that these trees provide for their communities, the nursery also employs and trains local people in sustainable, environmentally-friendly tree propagation and care, increasing horticultural knowledge and supporting families with skills and jobs.
