Expanding Access to Emergency Care

By Isaac Musalirwe | Project Leader

In the last three months, our free emergency ambulance has provided life-saving transportation to around 80 children and adults, ensuring they receive the urgent medical attention they desperately need.

With the your support, we have been able to safely transport patients to Whisper's from distant places and also take referrals to other hospitals for further management.

Our ambulance service continues to be a lifeline for individuals in remote and underserved areas, offering a critical solution for those facing medical emergencies. Whether it's rushing children with severe illnesses or safely transporting pregnant mothers in labor, the availability of our ambulance has significantly improved access to timely healthcare in our community.

The impact of these services is profound—many children and adults who would otherwise have been stranded without transportation have received the care they needed thanks to our dedicated ambulance team. For the mothers who have benefited from our services, the timely access to proper medical facilities has ensured safer deliveries, reducing the risks for both them and their babies.

None of this would have been possible without your generosity. Your support has funded fuel, vehicle maintenance, and essential medical supplies, allowing us to maintain and operate this critical service. We are deeply grateful for your contributions, which have played a direct role in saving lives.

However, the demand for our ambulance services continue to grow, and to keep up with this increasing need, we rely on ongoing donations. Fuel, vehicle upkeep, and operational costs are vital to keeping the service running and ensuring that more children and adults can access the healthcare they need in emergencies.

With your continued support, we can keep our ambulance on the road and continue to change lives, one emergency at a time.

Thank you for standing with us on this mission to make a meaningful difference for children, mothers, and adults in Uganda.
