This project installs an emergency call system in Ukrainian nursing homes to ensure that elderly residents receive immediate help during critical situations. By simply pressing a button, seniors can call caregivers for assistance, reducing response time, preventing deaths, and improving their quality of life.
Thousands of elderly residents in Ukrainian care homes live with limited mobility and fragile health. Many depend entirely on caregivers for daily support. In moments of sudden weakness or pain, they often cannot quickly ask for help. Because of staff shortages and unstable power due to the war, even simple situations can become dangerous. Every delay risks their comfort, safety, and sense of security.
The project will install emergency call buttons in 30 Ukrainian care homes, giving residents an easy way to request help with one press. Caregivers receive instant alerts on wrist pagers and a central panel, ensuring timely support. This system strengthens communication, improves safety, and gives seniors peace of mind, knowing help is always within reach.
By equipping 30 care homes with emergency call systems, over 3,000 elderly residents will live in safer, more supportive environments. Staff will respond faster, care quality will improve, and seniors will feel more secure and respected. This project sets a model for compassionate, reliable care that can be expanded nationwide, ensuring every elderly person can live with dignity and confidence.
