Schools remain essential partners in safeguarding children and communities from the threat of Ebola. With your support, we have continued enhancing preparedness measures in schools located within vulnerable regions.
Teachers participated in health education workshops designed to improve their understanding of Ebola prevention and emergency response procedures. Students also received age-appropriate information about hygiene practices, symptom recognition, and disease prevention.
Handwashing stations have been maintained and regularly supplied with soap and clean water, encouraging consistent hygiene among learners and staff. School health committees are actively monitoring compliance and reinforcing preventive behaviors.
Parents have welcomed these efforts, expressing greater confidence in the safety of learning environments. Many students have taken prevention messages home, helping spread awareness among family members and neighbors.
The project is fostering a culture of health and preparedness that extends beyond the classroom. By educating children today, we are helping build informed communities capable of responding effectively to future public health threats.
Your support continues to protect students, teachers, and families during this critical period. Thank you for investing in safer schools and stronger communities. Together, we are ensuring that education and health go hand in hand as Uganda strengthens its Ebola preparedness efforts
