As Ebola preparedness efforts continue, our focus extends beyond immediate response to building long-term community resilience. Thanks to your support, communities are becoming better equipped to prevent, detect, and respond to future public health threats.
Training programs conducted during this reporting period strengthened the skills of community volunteers, local leaders, and health advocates. Participants learned practical approaches to disease surveillance, risk communication, and emergency preparedness.
Community structures established through the project continue to support awareness campaigns, hygiene promotion, and early reporting systems. These networks are creating a sustainable foundation for future health interventions.
The knowledge gained by residents is empowering families to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. Increased community engagement has also strengthened collaboration between citizens and local health authorities.
Prepared communities are often the first line of defense during disease outbreaks. By investing in local capacity today, we are helping reduce future risks and improving the effectiveness of emergency response efforts.
Your support is creating lasting change that extends well beyond the current Ebola threat. Thank you for helping communities develop the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to face future challenges with confidence. Together, we are building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities across Uganda.
