Thanks to your continued support, our Ebola prevention outreach has expanded to reach more families living in vulnerable communities across Uganda. During this reporting period, community educators and volunteers conducted awareness sessions aimed at increasing understanding of Ebola transmission, symptoms, and preventive measures.
Families participated in interactive discussions that encouraged questions and provided opportunities to address concerns and misconceptions. These engagements have strengthened trust between communities and health response teams while promoting the adoption of healthy practices.
Many households reported a greater willingness to seek medical assistance when symptoms arise and a better understanding of how to protect themselves from infection. Educational materials distributed during outreach activities continue to serve as valuable resources for ongoing learning.
Community leaders have also been instrumental in reinforcing prevention messages and encouraging residents to remain vigilant. Their involvement has increased community participation and ownership of Ebola preparedness efforts.
Every family reached represents another step toward reducing the risk of transmission and strengthening public health resilience. The knowledge shared today will continue benefiting communities long after the current threat subsides.
Thank you for making this important work possible. Your generosity is helping ensure that lifesaving information reaches those who need it most. Together, we are building informed communities capable of protecting themselves and responding effectively to health emergencies.
