Thanks to your continued generosity, communities across Uganda are becoming more resilient in the face of Ebola and other public health threats. This reporting period highlighted the remarkable progress being made as families, volunteers, and local leaders work together to strengthen preparedness and prevention efforts.
Community awareness sessions remained a key focus, reaching hundreds of individuals with vital information about disease prevention, hygiene practices, and early symptom recognition. Participants actively engaged in discussions and demonstrated a growing understanding of their role in protecting public health.
Local volunteers continued conducting household visits, helping families adopt preventive behaviors and addressing concerns related to Ebola. Their efforts have strengthened trust and increased community participation in health initiatives.
The project has also encouraged greater collaboration between communities and healthcare providers, creating stronger networks for communication and support. These partnerships are essential for ensuring timely responses to potential health risks.
The positive changes witnessed during this reporting period demonstrate the lasting value of community-led action. Residents are increasingly taking ownership of prevention efforts and supporting one another in maintaining safe and healthy environments.
Thank you for helping make this progress possible. Your support is empowering communities with the knowledge, resources, and confidence needed to respond to health challenges. Together, we are building stronger and more resilient communities prepared for the future.
