Access to accurate information can save lives during public health emergencies. Thanks to your generous support, we continue working to ensure that communities receive timely, reliable, and easy-to-understand information about Ebola prevention and preparedness.
Throughout this reporting period, awareness campaigns were conducted through community meetings, public announcements, educational materials, and household visits. These efforts focused on sharing practical guidance and correcting misinformation that can hinder prevention efforts.
Community members expressed appreciation for having access to trusted sources of information. Many participants reported feeling more confident in their ability to identify symptoms, seek appropriate care, and support prevention measures within their households.
Local leaders, teachers, and volunteers have become important channels for sharing health information and reinforcing key messages. Their involvement helps ensure that accurate information reaches even the most remote areas.
Reliable information empowers communities to make informed decisions and respond effectively to health challenges. By improving access to knowledge, we are strengthening preparedness and promoting healthier behaviors.
Thank you for helping us expand access to lifesaving information. Your support is enabling communities to stay informed, prepared, and resilient. Together, we are building a stronger foundation for public health and disease prevention across Uganda.
