Families are at the center of every successful public health intervention. Thanks to your continued support, we are empowering households with the knowledge and tools needed to prevent Ebola and protect their loved ones.
Throughout this reporting period, outreach teams visited communities to provide practical education on disease prevention, hygiene practices, and early symptom recognition. Families learned simple yet effective actions that can reduce health risks and promote safer environments.
Parents have played a particularly important role in reinforcing prevention messages within their households. Many have reported encouraging children to adopt healthy habits such as regular handwashing and proper sanitation.
Community volunteers continue to provide guidance and support, ensuring that families remain informed and connected to available health resources. Their efforts have strengthened trust and encouraged greater participation in prevention activities.
As awareness increases, families are becoming more proactive in safeguarding their health and supporting broader community wellbeing. These positive changes contribute to stronger preparedness and resilience.
Thank you for helping empower families through prevention and education. Your generosity is giving households the resources and confidence needed to protect themselves from health threats. Together, we are creating healthier homes and stronger communities throughout Uganda.
