Children of DRC is facing the worst flooding in decades and the worst cholera outbreak in years. In 2023, more than 52,400 cases of cholera and 462 deaths were recorded in the DRC, making this epidemic among the largest in the world, according to the World Health Organization. The DRC accounted for 80% of all cholera cases in Africa. West and Central Africa.
