Families on the Brink of Hunger
The humanitarian situation in Uganda's Karamoja region continues to deteriorate as prolonged drought and repeated crop failures leave thousands of families without enough food. More than 430,000 people are facing acute food insecurity (IPC Phase 3 or higher), while approximately 1.5 million people remain at risk of malnutrition and hunger-related illnesses.
Children are bearing the greatest burden. Around 122,100 children under five years of age and 8,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women urgently require nutrition support to prevent severe malnutrition and life-threatening complications.
With your support, Good Cause Foundation is working to deliver emergency food assistance, nutritional support, and hope to vulnerable families before the crisis deepens further. Every contribution helps protect lives and restore dignity.
