Over last three months, 42 people have received counselling support through telephone. The majority were dealing with anxiety and stress. Flexibility of telecounseling has enable us to reach remote corner. Likewise, virtual counseling has helped them in sharing their feeling as confidentiality can be maintained. These tele-counseling includes, individual counseling more and few family counseling. Telecounseling is appreciated by those who likes to keep their identity confidential and needs someone to listen to them. The servie is provided by trained counselor.
Despite reaching to many, we still face challenge in prompt addressing few persons with urgent counselling needs. KOSHISH look forward to expand the telecounselling through virtual so that one can connect more. as this includes more investment in technology and training to counselors , KOSHISH is looking to opportunity for this.
