Dear Donors,
Thank you for standing with families affected by the Nepal floods.
When floodwater recedes, the damage it leaves behind can be overwhelming.
Homes may no longer be safe.
Roads may be damaged.
Bridges may be gone.
Families may have lost food, clothing and household belongings.
And people who were already living with limited resources may have nowhere to turn.
The August 26 floods affected Rasuwa, Nuwakot and downstream communities, leaving thousands of households in need of immediate assistance.
For displaced families, finding a safe place to sleep is only the beginning. They also need food, clean drinking water and access to healthcare.
Children need protection from illness.
Older people may need medical attention.
People with disabilities may need help accessing basic services.
Clarion Times Foundation plans to support 1,500 survivors with emergency food, temporary shelter and healthcare while they begin recovering from the disaster.
We are also working with local organisations familiar with the affected communities so assistance can reach people who need it.
Recovery takes time, but help can begin with one meal, one safe place to sleep and one visit to a healthcare worker.
Thank you for helping families in Nepal get through this difficult period.
Please share this project and help us reach more people who care about disaster survivors.
With gratitude,
Adaego Imoh
