Shortly after the earthquake on the Indonesian island of Java, A-PAD Korea cooperated with PeaceWinds to send a local emergency relief team (rescue team). Currently, we're focusing on activities with saving lives as its top priority. After the emergency relief work is completed, the purpose is to produce an emergency support kit (live necessities and ingredients) through value-raising activities to support the affected local residents, and to carry out a recovery project so that the original residents can safely return to their homes.
Production and distribution of emergency support kits
- On-site investigation in Indonesia and identification of the affected local residents.
- A survey on demand for victims in shelters.
- We plan to make kits and distribute the most essential items needed for shelter life.
(Blankets, clothes, hygiene products, water, food, etc.)
Medical support
- Medical support for victims in shelters.
- Support for hygiene products to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Thanks to your support, we were able to provide timely support to the victims in need. Thank you very much.
