Hello Friends!
Sharing with you another update from our emergency activities
During the holy month of Ramadan and Eif Al-Fitr, we increased our effort to help more families in need during this time.
With your help, we added one more activity to our list, with the loss of jobs caused by the war, more families have become in need for support.
In Karama, our team cooked meals for Iftar and distributed for disadvantaged families.
We also increased our cash for work activities, these activities serve two main goals;
The selected public areas in Deheisha refugee camp are mainly local organization and centers, including Karama headquarters. Our headquarters needed some small renovations we are also preparing our kitchen for upcoming training activities for refugee women. We took this opportunity to employ some workers who have lost their jobs for seven months now to help us make the needed renovation
Other cities included: kindergartens schools’ especially, the streets around the children’s schools where the team found unprotected electricity wires around the school street which were a life hazard especially to children.
Finally, we did another round of parcel's distribution in the last ten days of Ramadan, to support families to reduce their expenses as Eid Al-Fitr approached.
We also faced some challenges
The challenges are there, but your support always helps us to make these small differences in people's lives.
