A Gift Protected from Cold Fever & Cough

Proships working for the development of the children with disabilities in the community at Jamalpur district, its Northern part of Bangladesh. Under this working area Rajan  is 14 years old boy. He lives with his parents family members . His father is a poor labour of Decorator shop and mother is house wife. His father is an only earning member in their five members’ family. They have a very small house which is covered by tin shed. He is children with physical disability and condition in Cerebral Palsy (CP). At the early stage 4-5 years old he was well and then slowly facing problem, cannot sit alone, cannot scramble, cannot stand alone and also cannot walk. His parents were desperation after born a disabled child. Community people also give them so frequently. PROSHIPS find out him and complete Assessment in April 2007 and find out problem for the development. That time he can’t communicate with others, continuation drooling, with balance sitting problem, can’t use toilet properly, can’t use hand for ADL also problem himself dressing and undressing. Rajan is not growing as like other child his physical development is delay and now he is wheel chair user. Now he reads Dewangonj Govt. High School and he is going to school regularly after counseling with the school teacher & his family. Teachers and family members are happy for his performance of study. His neighbors  are told organizations activities are very much appreciated for well being the community.

During the period Cold weather is running and temperature degree is very low, People passing days with very cold, cough and other cold disease .but Rajon father not able to buy new clothes.  Mostly  disable children suffered with flue, cold, fever and cough in winter due to lack of  warm clothes. Rajan’s also not safe from Cold and protected during season. He wants to support for warm clothes or new blanket for continues happiness. We want to their happiness us apologies on the disadvantaged community for support buy warm cloth to them for current season.  We believe that a collective effort to address the issues and will helps to reduce long term vulnerability and live respectable life; they grow as  another citizen of Bangladesh enjoy full of life.
